The 40th Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade returns on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 6pm to 9pm. Presented by the Belmont Shore Business Association.
The Belmont Shore Christmas Parade is an annual event that brings the community together to celebrate the holiday season. This parade showcases local businesses, schools, and community groups and attracts tens of thousands of residents and visitors each year.
The theme of this year's parade is "A Holiday Tradition," honoring our 40 years of producing the parade and the tradition it has become for so many. The Parade is open and free for all ages to enjoy. The route is 1.2 miles long and begins promptly at 6pm starting at Livingston & 2nd Street marching east along 2nd Street turning around at Bay Shore Avenue and returning back to Livingston.
The parade will be live streamed, with special guest EmCee Bob Goen and Marianne Curan with interviewing and eyes on the street Lisa Ramelow.

Acess to 2nd Street, and Livingston from 2nd to Ocean will begin closing at 2pm and will be hard closed by 4pm. Bay Shore will remain open. Alleys behind 2nd street will also remain open. No property of any kind or physical obstructions are permitted on the sidewalk or center median until 4:00pm (chairs, blankets, tables, coolers, tape, chains, ropes, etc). All unaccompanied items will be removed and taken to Bayshore Library for pick-up at the end of the parade. The City of Long Beach has made this request for the purpose of protecting public safety and allowing pedestrian access along the sidewalk.
We recommend parking for FREE in the Ocean blvd. beach lots, and after 3pm, you can find additional spaces in the Marine Stadium parking lots.
