We’ll walk the newly completed Colorado Lagoon loop. The pedestrian path will open on November 8th.

On this last day before we set our clocks back, we’ll walk to the Green Belt with a stop by Eliot Lane and Ma N’ Pas. Bring some $ so you can grab Long Beachs BEST breakfast Burrito.

Trick or Treating on 2nd Street is a long-standing tradition. Halloween just isn’t the same without it.
Look for our JACK-O-LANTERN SIGNs in the windows for participating businesses that will be handing out treats.
Stop by Chase Bank and strike a pose in front of our photo op provided by Crafted by JM, and enter our Instagram Photo Contest! It all happens between 4-6pm. (see contest info below)
PLUS don’t forget to grab some dinner from our diverse selection of eateries before heading home to stroll your neighborhood.

23rd annual Haute Dog Howl'oween Parade is Sun., Oct. 27, 2024
HAUTE DOG HOWL'OWEEN PARADE on Sun., Oct. 27, 2:30 PM, is set to include more than 450 costumed dogs and a few thousand dogless gawkers. It's $10/dog/advance to enter the parade. Win prizes from Redbarn!
Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., 20th annual. 5200 E. Second Street. Justin Rudd and his nonprofit Community Action Team host about 50 adult artists who use the sidewalks of trendy Second Street to work on their large paper canvases.

BLESS THE PETS, Sun., Oct.20, 2024, 5:45 PM, at 1 Granada Ave., Belmont Shore in Long Beach, 90803, next to Rosie's Dog Beach, on the concrete boat launch ramp overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The Interfaith Blessing of the Animals is FREE and presented by Haute Dogs and Justin Rudd.
Seniors, families, singles, and children, were encouraged to bring their dogs, cats, birds, lizards, rabbits, pot-bellied pigs, fish, tortoises and turtles and other well-behaved pets.

We’ll explore the neighborhood visiting some epeic Halloween Displays including a private tour of Candified!
October 5th - Visit Sheldrake’s Coffee Roaster
Neighborhood walk with a visit to Sheldrake’s Coffee Roaster to meet Mike Sheldrake and be served a steeping hot cup of rich Belmont Shore History.
September 28 - Beach / Forrest Walk
We’ll walk to the grassy area on the west end of Mother’s Beach and take a “Forrest Bath” led by Meghan Pinyan. She’ll lead us on a guided sensory experience to deepen our connection to ourselves and the natural world. These slow and gentle walks begin with an embodiment exercise to awaken the senses, followed by carefully crafted invitations to explore our unique relationship with the earth.
