🎨 Belmont Shore Art Walk – Saturday, August 2nd | 5–9 PM
In collaboration with Long Beach Creative Group and the Belmont Shore Business Association, you're invited to an inspiring evening of art, community, and culture at the Belmont Shore Art Walk, featuring exhibitions across seven unique locations:

Alf’s Body Art Studio, Angel’s Share, BSBA Office Gallery, Chapter II Coffee, Le Macaron, Micro Gallery 2, Micro Gallery 20, Nu Du Salon

Meet the artists (lineup TBA), enjoy refreshments, and explore Second Street businesses transformed into pop-up galleries. Exhibits will remain on view through September 7th.

Trick-or-Treat on 2nd Street

Oct. 31, 2024 -  4 p.m. - 6 p.m.

Come to the Shore from 4pm-6pm on October 31st for a frightening good time!

Trick or Treating on 2nd Street is a long-standing tradition. Halloween just isn’t the same without it.

Look for our JACK-O-LANTERN SIGNs in the windows for participating businesses that will be handing out treats.

Stop by Chase Bank and strike a pose in front of our photo op provided by Crafted by JM, and enter our Instagram Photo Contest! It all happens between 4-6pm. (see contest info below)

PLUS don’t forget to grab some dinner from our diverse selection of eateries before heading home to stroll your neighborhood.

Instagram Photo Contest:
1. Post a photo taken at our event of your costume on Instagram by midnight on October 31st.
2. Tag @belmontshorelb to enter
3. You must be following our page
4. Photos will be shared to our stories where the public will vote.

Trick-or-treating at each storefront will last for as long as each business is able to participate. (Based on closing times and availability.)

41st Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parad

The 41st Annual Belmont Shore Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 6pm-9pm

One of the biggest parades of the year in Long Beach takes place yearly on the first Saturday in December. Families line up along 2nd Street for a seat or best viewing of the night-time event that includes Santa Claus, plenty of elves, and colorful bands, costumes, floats and surprises.

Over a dozen local marching bands, 100 entries, floats designed by Long Beach businesses and associations, marching bands, and local personalities and dignitaries, all make this the hometown favorite to get you in the holiday spirit. Belmont Shore loves the holidays and is adorned with light pole banners with festive holiday symbols and sentiments.

No Christmas Parade would be complete without an appearance by St. Nick! Entries return to Livingston Avenue heading west along the north side of East Second Street.
